Changing the way Claude Code communicates

The "Output style" configuration option in Claude Code lets you adjust how verbose its responses are.

Go to /config → "Output style" and choose the style you like:

I recommend switching to "Concise". It makes Claude less chatty.

When you're still learning (e.g. programming language, or application domain), try out "Explanatory" or "Learning".
