Switch from postfix's built-in "virtual" delivery daemon, and use "maildrop" instead
Ubuntu 10.04 maildrop issue
The maildrop package on Ubuntu 10.04 is not configured to work with courier-authdaemon. To test this, run maildrop -v
and look for the line Courier Authentication Library extension enabled
. To enable, build maildrop from source. See this article for an explanation of one issue this may cause.
