You may want to install a custom compiled version of vim on your computer so you can use things like command-t (I can't live without) inside of your terminal vim.
REMEBER: Compile with ruby version 1.8.7 because 1.9.2 breaks the compile. If your using vim, you maybe be able to switch to 1.8.7 by typing 'rvm use system'
