Tariq Al Habtoor received much of his education and training in the United Kingdom. Formerly a student of Kingston University, Tariq Al Habtoor studied a number of subjects related to mechanical engineering, including kinematics, materials, control systems, fluid mechanics, programming, thermodynamics, applied math, pure math, machining, project management and more. During his time in the UK, Al Habtoor lived in such communities as Camberley, Flakwell Heath, Surbiton, Slough, Shadwell, and Knights Bridge.
Tariq Al Habtoor enjoyed the opportunity to study at England’s Kingston University, where he studied various subjects within the realm of mechanical engineering between 2012 and 2015. As a Kingston student, Al Habtoor immersed himself in the study of such subjects as electronics, fluid mechanics, materials, programming, robotics, applied math, pure math, machining, project management, thermodynamics and more. Al Habtoor received his Certificate of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2015.
Among the many activities Tariq Al Habtoor enjoys in his free time is playing the didgeridoo – an Australian woodwind instrument known in many circles as a “didj.” Al Habtoor has become quite skilled at playing the didj, though he knows that mastering such an instrument requires patience, proper technique and, in some cases, years of practice.
